Swedish Massage- is one of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It is a relaxation massage incorporating light to medium pressure with strokes to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension.

Therapeutic Massage- is a variety of advanced techniques that enhance the body's restorative functioning.  A combination of different pressure, ranging from light to firm, is used in areas that need specific work.

Orthopedic Massage- is massage focused on soft-tissue injury.  The goals for this type of massage is to decrease pain, increase range of motion, and prepare the body to return to normal daily activity.   Some common conditions that are usually seen are ACL tear and whiplash.

Deep Tissue-  is massage focused on giving attention to specific painful or stiff areas in your body.   This massage can loosen painful "knots" and realign deeper layers of muscles.  This massage is good for chronic aches and pains such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, sciatica and sore shoulders.

Sports Massage- is massage that focuses on treating soft tissue aches, pain and injuries that are associated with recreational activities.  It manipulates the tissue to prevent injury and elevate muscle pain.  I have worked with several local athletes in the area to help their muscles for performance.

Lymphatic Massage- is a light touch massage to promote lymph flow circulation.  Light strokes are used.

Oncology Massage- is a light to touch massage customized to the meet the unique and changing needs of someone in treatment for cancer or with a history of cancer treatment.  A safe massage plan is client-specific and revolves around the side effects (both short and long term) of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.
